Xclusive Transport Services is a licensed motor carrier in Eldon, Missouri, minutes from Lake of the Ozarks. The owner quotes the job, loads it, drives it and hands it back. There is nobody else in the middle, and that is the whole point.
Why We Are Built This Way
Xclusive Transport Services opened in October 2015 hauling cars, and boats followed quickly because of where we are. Eldon sits a few minutes from Lake of the Ozarks, and the Lake moves an enormous amount of boat traffic every spring and fall. Once you have hauled enough of it, the boat work stops being a sideline.
Almost every result you find when you search for boat transport or auto transport is a broker. A broker is a middleman with a website. They take your deposit, post your boat to a public load board, and whoever accepts the load is the person who turns up at your house. You do not choose that person. Often you do not learn their name until the truck is in your driveway.
We are the truck. That means we can only be in one place at a time, and we will say so when the calendar is full instead of taking the booking and sorting it out later. In return you get the same person from the first phone call to the handover, which is the trade most owners of a nice boat would take every time.
What We Actually Run
One tractor and two trailers, all owned outright. Nothing is leased and nothing is subcontracted, so the equipment under your boat is equipment we maintain.
The lowboy
For boats. Runabouts, cruisers, go fast boats, center consoles, and pontoons and tritoons. This is the trailer that handles the wide and tall loads, which is most of what makes boat hauling different from hauling anything else.
The open car hauler
For vehicles. Cars, trucks and SUVs, and more than one at a time when they are heading the same direction. We do not run an enclosed trailer, and we will tell you that up front rather than take a booking we are not the right carrier for.

Cargo and liability coverage is carried through Northland Insurance Company and is listed on the FMCSA record above. If a transport company will not give you a USDOT number, that is the answer to your question.
Where the Work Comes From
Home base is Eldon, so Missouri and the Lake are steady work most weeks. Beyond that the runs follow the boats. Florida in both directions, the Texas coast, Arizona, and the occasional coast to coast trip for a boat that has been sold across the country.
A lot of it is repeat. The same owners move the same boat south and back again every year, which is the part of this that only really works when the same person is driving.
Talk to the Person Who Will Haul It
Send the two ends of the trip and what is moving. You will hear back from the owner, usually the same day.
